Happy Hump Day!

So Susan over at Learning for Lifetime did this meme and offered it up to anyone who wanted to do it. So because I am feeling ultra warm and comfy and not wanting to move at the moment, I decided to do it.

Were you named after anyone? I don’t think so…

When was the last time you cried? Gosh I really don’t know…probably in my bluesy stage when I was so frustrated with my life. (I’ve been out of this a couple weeks, yay!)

Do you like your handwriting? I feel like my handwriting changes a lot. Is that weird? Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don’t. Yesterday I was writing a lot and it felt weird/ looked weird…haha pretty sure that is weird.

What is your favorite lunch meat? I’ve never been much of a lunch meat fan (with the exception of places like Firehouse..but in my opinion, that is a huge exception).

Do you have kids? Noooo…one day, but God-willing not for at least a few years!

If you were another person would you be friends with you? I think so. I feel like I’ve been changing a lot lately. But in good ways. So I think I’d be my friend. But then again I’ve also been feeling like I don’t have many friends…maybe I’m not a good friend. hm.

Do you use sarcasm a lot? Yes and no, I think I tease more than I use sarcasm.

Do you still have your tonsils? Yup!

Would you bungee jump? More than likely no…it’s definitely not on my bucket list.

What is your favorite cereal? I get bored easily, so it’s always changing. Right now I’m a big oatmeal fan…oatmeal cooked with half water/ half lite vanilla soymilk, with some fresh fruit stirred in (either banana or apple, usually, although I’ve been dreaming up a tropical flavored oatmeal recently).

Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? Nope! I’m a kick-em-off-at-the-door chick. (Random story: last Thanksgiving we were in Alabama, Ross and I went for a walk…there are pecan trees EVERYWHERE and I am DEATHLY allergic to pecans and all tree nuts. Anyway, after stepping on so many pecans, I didn’t want to touch my shoes to take them off, so I asked Ross to help me…and he untied them! I was amazed at how much longer actually untying them takes. end of story).

Do you think you are strong? In what sense? Physically, spiritually, mentally, emotionally? I think I’m moderately strong overall in all areas. I like to say practice makes perfect, so I guess in this case, practice maintains and builds strength.

What is your favorite ice cream? Edy’s Double Fudge Brownie. No contest.

What is the first thing you notice about people? I guess what they’re wearing? Sometimes I look at people’s hands and see if there are any engagement or wedding rings…that can sometimes tell a lot about a person and where they are in life.

Red or pink? both, but I think I may tend to gravitate to pink (I just got a brand new super cool pink notebook for all my nutrition notes…I know, I’m VERY easily pleased).

What is the least favorite thing about yourself? selfishness

Who do you miss the most? I guess right now I’d have to lump it all together and say all my family and friends (esp. my sister)..the vast majority don’t live in our current town.

What color shoes are you wearing? psh, girlfriend don’t wear shoes in the house! Usually I’m barefoot, but right now I’m wearing bright green striped eucalyptus socks cuz it was chilly when I woke up. (Sounds weird but they are THE softest socks, even softer than bamboo, that I have ever tried! If you find any do yourself a favor and pick them up!)

What was the most recent food you ate? Special K…not very special but it’s what I had on hand (waste not want not!)

What are you listening to right now? The today show..haha I just read about Vitamin K yesterday and they were actually just talking about it!

If you were a crayon what color would you be? Any blue color…indigo, cerulean, blizzard blue, robin’s egg blue, midnight blue…haha I love blues! Although lately I’ve been liking purples too..and fuscia…and salmon..I guess I like variety in all areas. It is the spice of life!

Favorite smells? vanilla, coffee (which is weird since I don’t drink it), lemon sugar, jasmine, freshly baked goodies, and any type of food that makes your house smell great when you’re cooking it.

Who was the last person you talked to on the phone? Ross…haha I called him right after he left and told him I missed him already. I’m pretty sure we’re the reigning king and queen of cheese.

Do you like the person who sent this questionnaire to you? Yes, I love Susan! She’s a great, godly woman, throws amazing bridal showers, signed my mom up on facebook, and is overall fun!

Favorite sports to watch? Wow, I really wish I could say “I love watching football!” or something like that…but I just don’t. I get bored easily (like I said, variety!). Oh well!

Hair color? Natural blonde! The sun always does crazy highlight stuff with my hair, which is funny because I’ve actually had strangers stop me and ask where I get my highlights done. hahaha…sorry to disappoint!

Eye color? Blue. Sometimes a really striking blue, sometimes a blue-green, and I’ve occasionally seen it a blue-grey. Depends on what I’m wearing and my mood.

Do you wear contacts? Yes. And glasses. Usually glasses if I’m in and not going anywhere (right now) and contacts if people are going to see me or sunlight is involved.

Favorite food? Chocolate. Oh that’s not a food you say? You lie. (Seriously though, I like a variety of food…I need variety).

Scary movies or happy endings? HAPPY ENDINGS!!! I have such a weak tolerance for scary movies, horror movies…*shudder*

What color shirt are you wearing? Grey UCF sweatshirt (yes, I like spelling it grey instead of gray. always have, always will!)

Summer or Winter? Winter. But I like all seasons! I’ve lived in FL too long. We have summer. And then probably a total of 20 days of “winter” a year. I can’t wait to move and have real seasons and real winters!

Hugs or kisses? Both (but Hershey kiss wise, the kisses are way better than hugs)

Favorite dessert? so hard…probably a chocolate cheesecake of some sort (can you tell I’m a chocoholic?)

What book am I reading now? My nutrition book. But I just finished reading Nicholas Sparks’ “Dear John” –it was pretty good! Did you know Nicholas Sparks is supposedly adapting it for a movie to star Miley Cyrus?

What is on your mouse pad? I don’t have a mouse pad.

What did you watch on TV last night? House and the results show of Dancing with the Stars (hate to say it, but I’m glad Cloris is gone…there have been better dancers going home).

Favorite sound? Laughter and music in tune…I’m that person who gets completely distracted when someone behind me starts singing way off key…can’t help it, I’ve been a classically trained musician forever!

Rolling Stones or Beatles? I guess Beatles

What is the farthest you have ever been from home? Italy! LOVED it! except Naples..kinda trashy (literally)..but I enjoyed Rome and Florence and LOVED Salerno! Go to Salerno if you’re ever in Italy, it is the most charming Italian city (south of Naples, on the Mediterranean…gorgeous).

Do you have a special talent? Most things arts related. I’m a flutist (or flautist, whatever floats your boat), I do lots of crafty things, esp. with cards and scrapbooking, and I like to think my culinary skills are a special talent!

Where were you born? Connecticut

Wow, that was a lot longer than I thought! If you read through all of that, then I hope you learned some more about me and aren’t frightened away! I had fun doing that meme…you may find more of those popping up here occasionally.

Well I need to go get my nutrition on! (I’m loving this! I may post sometime this week about fun things I’m learning). I really hope everyone is having a good week! It’s halfway over! (Hubs and I are so excited because we’re going back to Orlando this weekend. A “real” city! I’m making plans…Whole Foods, Target, Moe’s, and SO many more places we don’t have here!).
