Hey everyone!
This definitely won’t be a long post. I have spent hours trying to create my own header! I finally figured it out, but unfortunately it’s a little blurry now due to a bunch of re-sizing issues.
Anyway, please let me know how you feel about the new header and the general new layout! Nothing is set in stone yet, so all feedback will be graciously accepted and considered!
Things to come tomorrow: Vanilla Chobani review, a money-saving Christmas shopping tip, and tales of new goodies (including a contest/ giveaway I won and a cute new ornament!). Random, but thus is my life!

Ooo I like the new look!! Great photo compilation in your header! I only have one suggestion (this comes from the graphic designer in me): try lightening up your text so it "pops" out of your b&w pics. Or even put a drop shadow on it (if you have a program that will do that). If not, let me know and I could probably do it for ya
You're brave for doing the whole custom header thing! That's on my to-do list for winter break!

cute, i like this one a lot better, your last color palette (the black and white text) was a bit to contrasty. Wen you had long posts, the white text against the black made my eyes vibrate
My only thing with this one is you either need to lighten the texture on your background or choose a slightly thicker font. Reason being, your font is thin and it competes with the texture in the background, therefore making it a little hard to read. Other than that, cute header, I agree with Ry, maybe even try a color for your text in the header… also I like the nice soft palette you’ve choose for the over all feeling!!!

Definitely love the new look, its so cute! But I agree with chasedaylight, you need to somehow make the text stand out a little more.
