Dear Loyal Readers,
I’m feeling a little creative at the moment so I figured I’d present my random news, vents, and loves in a variety of letter formats. Inspiration taken from Miss Marie, gosh she’s amazing and I think she bleeds creativity.
If you’re here for the food, come back later tonight or tomorrow for a homemade applesauce post. Dinner will be boring as I have acquiesced to my husband’s request for his ultimate favorite – Firehouse Subs. Think of it as a mild celebration dinner for his relocation bonus that has finally, thankfully come through. Ca-ching!
For a new job endeavor I shall start tomorrow, see my last letter for friends.
Your Loyal Blog Hostess,
LC

Dear Whiny Girl on Facebook,
Please, do me a favor and wait to start complaining how you hate job searching until you’ve been job searching more than the 2 weeks since you graduated. Yet again another reason why I shall be avoiding the world of facebook for a while.
Much appreciated,
She Who Has Been Job Hunting Much Longer

Dear Brides-to-Be,
Exciting news my friends! You can plan your wedding and be a Bride Against Breast Cancer! Check out the Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation website. See if there is an event near you. Most (maybe all except the VIP evenings?) are free, and you can go and find hundreds of beautiful new bridal dresses from $99 – $799. Some dresses have even been donated from major bridal gown designers and are worth up to $8,000! (There are other gowns retailed at $20,000 that can be found for 25-75% off). These Brides Against Breast Cancer events are a huge fundraiser for the Making Memories Foundation. Check it out!
(Already married? Volunteer at an event! I’m thinking of volunteering for the Orlando event March 12-13. How fun would it be to help a bride find the dress of her dreams, AND it’s for a good cause!)
Feeling Pink,
A Newlywed Against Breast Cancer

Dear Husband,
I love you. Thank you for the diamonds that adorn my left hand. just kidding, but seriously, thanks.
I know with more certainty than anything else in my life that God brought us together to be married and I’m so thankful for that. While our wedding day was one of the best days of my life, it is so hard to pick just one “best day” with you.
Affectionaly yours,
Your Mrs.

Dear Lurkers,
Delurk please! I know you’re out there. Leave a comment, send me an email at mrslcblog@gmail.com, send me a message or give me a call if you know me in “real life”, something! I know there are MANY more of you reading this blog than those of you commenting. So here, to encourage delurking, tell me where you would vacation if you could go anywhere in the world right now (keep in mind many parts of FL will be below freezing tonight haha). My top places I want to travel are Europe (a European tour), Hawaii, and South America.
Wanting to Know Who’s Out There (and where ya wanna go!),

Dear Friends,
I know many of you have been praying for job opportunities for me, and I wanted to thank you! I decided today to take a temporary event-planner position (although what event planner has anything but temporary gigs?). I’m actually pretty excited about this, as I have thought about going into event planning in the past. I will be working on a large fundraiser for a local school and rehab center for disabled children. The fundraiser is a huge to do, with plates starting at $125 per person, lots of local big wigs, a silent auction, a live auction, a performance by some of the children from the school, and more. At the absolute least, this gives me a seemingly fun way to pass my time for the next couple of months, as well as give me more experience in the event planning field to see if I want to pursue this further. So we shall see what happens!
Excited for what’s to come,
Mrs. LC
Don’t forget to leave a comment and tell me your top vacation spot!! Commenters and lurkers alike! Much love y’all!!!

Yeah for your temporary position!
Oh no, I hope I am not whiny girl on facebook.
Good luck with the event planning thing. You know where I want to vacation, but Europe is my #1 choice. Going to the mountains somewhere would be pretty sweet too!
Heather – no, not at all! haha I don’t even think I’m your friend on facebook (yet!).
Meg – thanks! One day we’ll go to Europe together.
But mountains would be cool too, and maybe easier for the time being. Although there are mountains in Europe!!
Love the “letters!” VERY cute idea! I will leave my comments to each:
God is good that way! He TOTALLY knows what He’s doing!

I didn’t know you were on facebook…me too!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your “pink” support. As a future survivor, I appreciate it more than you know.

“Game on,” indeed! You go girl!

It hit a whopping high of 16 degrees here today so while I am dreaming of going to Paris, France one day, right now all I can think of is somewhere warm! Hawaii would be nice!

I have prayed for you and your job and am so excited for you! Good luck! Event planning sounds great! You will do great!
I am so adding you to my blogroll!!!! I love your blog, I think we are a lot alike:) The new job sounds fun, I would love to be an event planner, shoot I do it already but never get paid…lol…
My number one choice is NAPA, CA!!! But I loved Italy, I think I just love anyplace that is romantic:)
Congrats on the temporary position!
Italy is my #1. We are going there for our honeymoon in July. I can’t wait!
Good luck with event planning!! Where I’d want to go? Hm. Probably Switzerland, mostly because the love of my life is Swiss and I want to get to know the country he’s from!! Or Australia (his mom’s australian!! what a combo
By the way, I love reading your blog, it’s one of the first ones I visit everyday!
Aw, Erica thanks so much for your responses to each of my letters.
Bobbi – I have often felt that way reading your blog!
Oh, I LOVE Italy!! I would love to go back.
Amanda – when’s your wedding? And where are you going in Italy? We’ve been to Salerno, Rome, and Florence. Salerno was amazing. And we got married in July too, July 26!
Abby – Thanks so much! And um, when you go to Australia, could you sneak me in your suitcase? I’ll pay the crappy suitcase fees.
Australia is another place I’d love to go.
I want to go back to Italy or London
Although at this point, I’d love to go on vacation period!
Can’t wait for your applesauce!
cute blog, i just found it. i like the comment about whiny job lookers, funny.
I like your letters! Congrats on taking your temporary position, it’ll be fun! right now about 75% of my job is dedicated towards event planning and I love it!
Oh and my favorite vacation spot where I’ve been has been Italy, but I would LOVE to be in Greece right now!
Your spag squash from yesterday looks great, I’m glad you liked it. Can’t wait to see your homemade applesauce- it is such a great and healthy treat. Enjoy the subs
Congrats on the event planning position! I hope you enjoy it!
I think I’d have to think of my #1 choice a little bit before deciding … I have to weigh my options first.
(And, yes, I understand about the price of Ezekiel bread :s! My husband is soon going to try and make some sprouted grain bread so we’ll see how that goes … )
Warning: Unintentional lurker coming out
I created a blog not too long ago, and I’d have to say that you’re the reason why… just an FYI.
As far as vacation spots go, my choice is not one that many (if any) people have heard of… Bronwood, GA. It’s a very secluded part of Georgia- so much so that their police department, city hall, and post office are all in the same one-room building. My family used to go there once or twice a year to a cabin that we had on a piece of land covered in cotton fields, woods, and a lake. So serene, so calming, so wonderful.
On another note, I’m really looking forward to your applesauce post. I’ve been wanting to make applesauce for a couple of weeks now, so I’m eagerly awaiting
Hey girl …again
Yes- it is a polish dish! Your weekend sounds awesome! Have fun
Applesauce recipe will come in the am.
Meghann – oh I forgot about Greece! Sign me up!
La Penseuse – SO glad you’re delurking!! About to go check out your blog now, and Bronwood, GA actually sounds so nice right now. If I could I’d totally go there for a long weekend, right now!
HEHE i love your letters- i hope i’m not whiny girl either
I’m SOOO excited for your job thingy, this could lead to great things, yay! I will take a vacay anywhere as of now..but I’d love to go back to Waikiki, or a new hawaiian island!!
You are very creative! I really enjoyed reading this post. I’m on Facebook, too, by the way. When you’re done avoiding it, we should be “friends”
) Good luck with the permanent job search and the temporary position!!
I loved this post! So so cute! Congrats on your event planning position
I want to vacation in Italy! And I wish people would delurk on my blog too!
Let’s see….
I completely agree with your facebook statement. I recently deleted a lot of my old friends who weren’t really friends anymore and I’m liking it. They all sent me mean messages but whatever. They can call me if they are really that upset.
What happened to your nutritionist courses and such? Is that something that you can’t really do until you get certified?
BABC is great! I looked there but didn’t find anything. But…I know other girls who have found *the* dress there. It’s a cool thing and any bride to be should at least check it out.
I would go straight back to Salerno, Italy. Which is nothing new because I talk about, twitter about, and blog about it. If I ever get married again it will be in the form of an elopement there. It’s beautiful. Other than that, I’d like to go to NYC again but have more time to explore and to Australia.
The fundraising event sounds like a fun project! Congrats!
yay for a temp job! sounds exciting
I love this post! You have a really great style of writing, and such a beautiful blog! I can’t wait to follow more…
My hubb and I have been trying to plan a trip to Florence or Barcelona together for the last 3 years, and we’re hoping it will finally happen for our 5 year wedding anniversary, April 28th, 2011!
I’m an event planner so if you need any advice or anything just let me know
