In honor of the first day of Spring and it being a FRIDAY, I have two variations of a green smoothie for ya:
2 c. baby spinach, 1/2 c. frozen pineapple, 4-5 chunks frozen mango, 1 T. ground golden flax, handful of ice, splash of coconut water, and enough water to reach desired consistency.
2 c. baby spinach, 15 chunks frozen pineapple, 4 chunks frozen mango, 4 oz. POM juice, 1 T. golden flax, handful of ice, and water until you reach your desired consistency.
The POM juice definitely made the smoothie darker! I really enjoyed both of these smoothies, but I think I loved the first one more. The coconut water adds such a refreshing taste to this smoothie!! Plus I love the vibrant green color!!
Make the most of this Friday and first day of Spring! Why not take today to evaluate your current nutrition and fitness plans? What better day to revamp and do some spring-cleaning on your habits than the first day of Spring?? I know I will be thinking of this while I’m wasting time, I mean sitting around getting paid, I mean working today.

Holy cow, that top photo is gorgeous! Yep…it's got mango in it. Mango & spinach or parsley is always just the prettiest thing! Very in the spirit of the day, it being the Equinox.
