(And no, I didn’t have my hair highlighted/ colored at all, I think it just looked lighter because it was freshly cut, healthy, and not bogged down anymore!)
I LOVE my haircut. It just feels so much better. If anyone out there is nervous about donating to Locks of Love, just go ahead and do it. It’s a great organization, and chances are if your hair is long enough to donate it will look and feel SO much better and healthier afterwards. Plus, if you go to an awesome salon like us (beyond Reflection in Sarasota) it could be completely free!
My sister Megan cut her hair as well.
We are both so happy with our hair. And these shorter haircuts make the cutest little “ponytails” – I’ve nicknamed mine knubby and Megan’s is stubby.

All in all it was a fabulous weekend in Sarasota celebrating my sister’s awesome birthday! She turns 20 today and has officially exited the teen years!
