One year ago today was the day before my wedding, so one year ago today was full of many preparations and fun!
When my now in-laws and my bridesmaids (and photographer, who’s a great friend of mine!) came into town, we all met at my house for a quick luncheon of various salads and croissants full of cinnamon chips or chocolate chips.
We quickly departed to get our nails done! (I LOVE getting nails done! It was at this point that I deemed wedding planning officially over and the fun officially began!)

I love getting glammed up.
Unfortunately I think the last time I got a pedicure or manicure was one year ago today! That should be rectified…
I ran back to my parents’ house to change and grab the stuff for the rehearsal and the ceremony site.
Then it was time to rehearse in our gorgeous chapel!
“Wait, so I’m going to pass who’s bouquet on to who?” (SIL Jordan in purple and sister/ MOH Megan in grey).
I think we were all confused at this moment. At least I looked cute doing it?
We had a laid-back rehearsal dinner in the fellowship hall of the church with pizza from Cosimo’s (restaurant where we ate before getting engaged) and fun with all.
Then girls + boys separated because it was time for my Bachelorette Party and Lingerie Shower!
I actually remember that I had a really sore throat the night before our wedding! I remember wanting hot tea and downing cough drops like it was my job.
I also remember typing out vows in my cell phone when I couldn’t sleep a wink.
Ross and I had the “traditional” wedding vows, but before we repeated the traditional wedding vows, we each shared some personal vows we wrote. (Ross ended up blowing me away and bringing tear to my eyes…I knew I should have gone first!).
Come back tomorrow for day-of wedding preparations!
