Moving Day!

Today is MOVING DAY!! We are pretty excited! By the time you guys are reading this the truck will *hopefully* be packed and we’ll be on our way to Gainesville! My awesome parents offered to help us out, so they headed up here early this morning to help finish loading the heavy stuff AND they’re following us to G-ville to help us unload before they head back to Sarasota! I know, they’re awesome. (And don’t worry, I have a bottle of one of their favorite wines waiting for them as a thank you!).

We will *hopefully* have internet today if all goes according to plan, but ya never know!

Just in case I don’t get to “talk” to you guys in a while, I have some good news!

1. Thursday morning (as in tomorrow, day after we move in) I’m going in for “skills assessments” at a company close to my new home who is looking for an administrative assistant. Cross your fingers and say a prayer for me!
2. Monday morning, the 17th, I have an interview in another county for a job that is very similar to what I’ve most recently been doing. The position is for a coordinator of fund raising and special events for a nonprofit.

I’m so excited about these potential opportunities and am definitely praying one of them works out! Last year when we moved it was to a much smaller town and I couldn’t find a job (or even get an interview anywhere!) for six months! Just knowing that I have two interviews lined up immediately after we move makes me feel a lot more optimistic!
