Apparently I’m the only music dork out there – for the record, Symphonic Metamorphosis is by Hindemith.
(In case you missed it, I’m referencing last night’s post).
Moving on! Busy morning! I spent a lot of time yesterday reworking my resume. You know the quote that says something to the effect of “if you keep doing what you’ve always done, you’ll always stay where you’ve always been”? (I’m sure I butchered that quote, but you get it). Well, I figured that my current resume, while ok, was not getting the results I desired. So why not fine tune it?
Well my new and improved resume was great. Until it disappeared off my computer with no explanation (I searched everywhere). Oh well. So instead of actually applying to some jobs this morning, I re-did my resume again.
Breakfast was crack (I did not feel like messing around). I loved how the last of the almond milk (Original Almond Breeze for those of you who have asked) got all foamy and bubbly at the end. Yum.
Lunch was a cup of leftover homemade split pea soup with half a ciabbata roll (toasted with Earth Balance). I didn’t end up eating the peach with cinnamon and almond butter, simply because I wasn’t hungry anymore.
I have so much to do now, and so little time to do it! Up next – go to the gym! Then I need to come back, shower, finish folding laundry, eat my peachy snack (!), pack for Ross and I for the weekend, tidy up a bit and be on the road (hopefully) by 4:30.
We’re headed to Sarasota for Labor Day Weekend! My sister and her boyfriend are driving down from their college in Alabama, so I’m looking forward to us all being able to hang out. I love my family!!
I’m sure I’ll be asked, so I’ll go ahead and answer it now. I am honestly not worried about my vegan challenge with my family. They all know about it, and I’m pretty sure they all respect it. My mom always has tons of healthy options on hand, and besides a couple larabars and a giant peach that will go rotten before we get back, I’m not bringing much else. Plus, my mom has always been pretty accomodating (i.e. if I didn’t want to eat the roast beef, she’d make me a chicken breast).
Ahh running out of time, have to boogy!

Eek, sorry about the resumé getting lost!! Kudos for rewriting it though
Good luck!!
Have a blast in Sarasota!!
I hate when documents vanish into thin air! So frustrating.
Good luck getting everything done and have a great weekend!
Hmmm…you and your Mom must have the same "computer gene" with those lost files! Seriously, I'm glad that you didn't lose more stuff. Have fun this weekend! Remember if you're ever in town and want to come visit 360, we'd love to have you!
