Productivity Overdrive

Last night I tried some tea with Valerian in it to try to easy some of my sleepless woes. I don’t know if it actually worked or if it was all in my head, but I did feel a little sleepy after drinking the tea! ;)

This morning I was all determined to wake up earlier, go to the gym right away, come back, blog, and be productive, but it hasn’t quite happened in that order. I did wake up earlier and I have been incredibly productive, but time’s gotten away and I just realized it’s the afternoon and I still have to workout! I’ll make it happen, don’t you worry. ;)

Breakfast is practically not worth mentioning…I think I need to put myself on a no cereal challenge again. :/

Snack was a dinky little slice of that vegetable and fruit bread (no recipe yet, not quite internet-worthy) with some old Barney Butter I found in the cabinet.

Lunch is delicious and green! How I’ve missed my greens. :)

Spinach salad with black beans, frozen mango and avocado.

And an organic gala (these are tiny little apples!) with raw almond butter and cinnaminnamon. ;)

I need to finish eating my lunch (no “lunch break” for me today!), knock a couple more things off my list and then workout! I still have a couple more jobs to apply for AND I have to call some prospective insurance providers for quotes/ questions, AND clean AND Ross wants me to go with him to some Future Farmers of America BBQ down at his school tonight that his kids want us to go to…umm pretty sure it’s not going to be a vegan-friendly BBQ. We’ll see!

BBQ or not, I’ll be back with a new vegan, non-BBQ meat dinner for myself tonight. :)

I need to eat MORE cereal. For some reason I don't like it with anything but 2% cow's milk which is not good for me, so I just refrain.

Good job with the productive day. Hope you have a good workout and have fun at the BBQ if you go.

I am a 2/3 a day vegetarian. One of my goals is to go an entire week (then a month) of just vegetarian options. Good goal!

Hey, I think you are making commendable progres for a Monday. No worries about the workout, you'll get it in and if not, who cares…there is always tomorrow!

Enjoy the rest of your productive monday!
