A Walk in the Park

Hey guys! We got in Orlando super late last night, and had an even later night up with the fam for a bit. (Dinner was just a veg. delight sub from Subway with no cheese – don’t worry, Vegan Venture is still in full force!)

We crashed hard last night and slept in. I’m embarrassed to say how late we slept, but let’s just say when we woke up the yoga class Ryan and Caitlin went to was almost over. :) Hopefully I’ll get to check out that $5 yoga class next time I’m in Orlando!

On our way out the door Ross and I each grabbed an apple and split this PBJ Larabar before heading to the park.

We went to Blue Jacket Park/ Lake Baldwin for a nice, long (crazy hot) walk. I’m guessing our total mileage was around 5 miles? Blue Jacket Park holds a lot of beautiful memories for us – picnic lunch dates after church, long walks, fun rollerblading sessions, late night walks discussing our dreams, our first kiss… :) We even had some engagement pictures taken here, check it out:

Man, I can’t believe that was over a year ago. It feels like just a couple months ago! Crazy how time flies.

We were pretty ravenous afterward so we stopped by Moe’s. Remember the last time I went to Moe’s and had a disappointing vegan experience? Not sure what’s up…I complained to the company and never heard anything back (poor customer service), but when I went today the Art Vandelay (vegetarian) junior burrito was cheaper than it was before. Could just be the different location? Whatever!

Junior vegetarian burrito (rice, black beans, guac, lettuce, salsa, black olives, cilantro) with some chips and salsa to split with Ross. (Don’t you think these “junior” burritos are totally normal-sized burritos?)

Now I need to go stretch out – my quads and hammies are STILL sore from a bunch of the strength exercises I did the other day. Or maybe it was some of the yoga I did yesterday. Whatev! Stretch city (and shower city) here I come!!

See you later!

I love your engagement pictures! I've noticed that Starbucks prices vary depending on location. Usually it's because if you order something with a lot of custom requests, they enter it in the machine differently. I wonder if that's what Moe's did? Anyway – I hope you are having a great weekend :)

You are so cute! Don't worry about sleeping in, it happens to all of us time to time. I just tell myself that my body must have needed sleep!

Aww you're practically in my backyard!! I only live about 5 miles from Baldwin. Sometimes the hubbie and I will go play softball in their open fields.

Is it weird that I love how "Pleasantville" the area is.

p.s. LOVE the engagement pics!! You look so pretty and happy :)

I love your engagement photos, so pretty!

And yes, I totally agree on the burrito sizes. I usually get a kids meal at Moe's too!

Your engagement pics are gorgeous. The burrito sounds good, I've been craving one. Glad the service was better this time!
