Last night my husband decided to stir up some trouble in the kitchen. He tested out the vegan chocolate chip cookie recipe that I’m working on and I have to say, he was hilarious the whole time. Ross was in there smack talking Betty Crocker, saying she had nothin’ on him. I couldn’t not laugh out loud! While the recipe still needs a little tweaking, the cookies were quite pretty. Ross couldn’t understand why I didn’t take a picture last night (waiting for better, natural light this AM) and he wanted them plastered all over the blog. Happy to serve, honey.

I wish that was my breakfast!
Instead, I chopped and warmed up a Fuji apple with about a 1/4 cup leftover quinoa, cinnamon, golden flax, unsalted roasted peanuts, pepitas and goji berries.

It was a pretty tasty breakfast, but compared to those cookies up there…well it just doesn’t compare. What could compare with chocolate?! So to make it seem a little more like “cookies and milk” I had a glass of cold, vanilla rice milk on the side. (So good!)

Now I’m off to tackle this day! Lots to do! TTFN, ta ta for now!

They do look great! Your bfast also looks yummy tho..it’s worth skippin’ the cookies.
They do look great eheh I don’t think I could resist
I love dessert for breakfast! They look beautiful.
Mmm, vanilla rice milk! I’m going to have to get that next time, I’ve just been using plain and I’m sure vanilla is more fun to drink
My mind immmediately went to cookie crisp cereal when I saw the title in my reader! haha
Love the Tigger reference!
Cute cookies – they look delicious. I bet you could incorporate them into breakfast some day!
When I read the title, I was like “What?! First ice cream for breakfast, now cookies?! Who are you?!” Funny. But seriously, I don’t know how you resisted eating the cookies for breakfast.
Your TTFN took me back to the good ol’ days of Tigger and Pooh! Loved it!
I can’t wait until the recipe tweaking is done because they look fantastic already!!
“What could compare with chocolate?!” You make a gooood point.
Your breakfast does look pretty delicious, though!
Haha, that would by funny. The cookies look great, Ross must be quite the baker!
You’re a tricky one. I thought this post was going to have some sort of magical healthy cookie that I could eat for breakfast. A snickerdoodle, perhaps.
