Excitement to come this week!

Good morning! Thanks for all of your positive comments regarding my (good) exercise identity crisis. If you wish you had the same kind of “identity crisis” just remember – you do not have to run everyday to get better at your running. Despite taking a long break from running and despite only running two or three times a week the past two weeks, I’m still quickly improving. It’s because I do plenty of other strength training and cardio! So just push yourself, vary it up, stick with your goals, forgive your body for things it can’t do at the time and focus on what you can do. :)

Breakfast this morning was another smoothie in a bowl. This “batch” contained spinach, kale, frozen blueberries, frozen mango, brown rice protein powder, a GoodBelly Plus, almond milk and ice. Topped with Quaker crack.

I have a promise to make: if you have yet to make a green smoothie, please try it because I promise you won’t be disappointed! I was on the phone with my mom the other night and she was scanning over some pics from the blog recently and she gasps and goes, “what is that green stuff?”. Let’s just say she was a little less than enthused over the idea of greens in a smoothie. I may have to make one to have her try when I visit this weekend. ;) Just start small for newbies – just a handful of spinach at a time, then a kale leaf at a time, etc.

Anyway, make sure you all come back in a couple hours. I’ll be revealing my new challenge/ goal that I’d love for all of you to participate in with me. The rest of the week is pretty exciting too. Tomorrow I will be sharing a water goal and plan with you, and then Friday night I will be revealing a big announcement. :)

    I’m excited for your big announcement!

    I have been trying to improve my running by running daily which has been hurting my knees. I’ll have to take your advice and try some other stuff out.

    I would need you to come and make me a baby smoothie, too, please! I have tried making one before, but just couldn’t get over the color and texture. Maybe I did something wrong ;-) Walk me through an easy peasy delicious one and I will give it another shot!

    I’m excited for Friday’s announcement! Hmmmmmm, what could it be??

    I can’t wait to read about the big announcement! Running is a struggle for me, but I keep trying my best! It’s something that I want to become really good at.

    Quaker crack AND green monsters are two things I haven’t tried yet. The green monster may have to wait though – it’s a little chilly!!

    PS. I saw your comment from my blog, I would LOVE to visit you! Florida has to be warmer than Michigan ;)
