Hey friends! Sorry for the late post tonight, technical difficulties. (Nothing my tech guru Mr. Ross couldn’t handle!) Before he switched to “tech guru” role, Ross played the best husband ever roll and decided to “splurge” for sushi and wine tonight to celebrate my new job.
Brown rice vegetarian sushi that completely hit the spot.

Knowing my obsession love for all things pomegranate, he picked up a bottle of Armenian Pomegranate Wine. (Blurry picture, but I had to demonstrate Ross’ silly side).

It was pretty tasty! It was a little darker and murkier in color than your traditional red, but it kind of tasted like a strong sangria. I’d love to try this as the wine in a homemade sangria with lots of fruit! Or in a winter mulled wine, warmed with spices.

I only had one glass because (I’m ashamed to say) I was pathetic on the water consumption front today. I knew I was pretty dehydrated when I felt that buzz pretty quickly! Oh well, more wine to try in a sangria later.
Alright, it’s time for this chickadee to head for bed!
Don’t forget to keep voting! Even though I have a job now, it’s just part time so I am by no means rolling in the dough.
I would be honored to share my good mood with the world!
