Work It Out

Today is flying by! One way to make your morning fly by? Get in a kick butt workout!

  • Elliptical, level 5, 45 minutes
  • Stair Master, level 3, intervals, 15 minutes
  • Bicep/ Arm Curl (30 lbs, 3×10*)
  • Shoulder Press (25 lbs, 3×10)
  • Lateral Pull Down (50 lbs, 3×10)
  • Upright Row (50 lbs, 3×10)
  • Butterfly (30 lbs, 3×10)
  • Chest Press (60 lbs, 3×10)
  • Tricep Press (50 lbs, 3×10)
  • Reverse Crunches (50)
  • Stability Ball Crunches (100)
  • Standing Oblique Flexion (20 lbs, 4×25 per side)

(*3×10 just means 3 sets of 10 reps)

I was starving by the end! I probably should have had a slightly larger breakfast because I was quite shaky, cranky and getting nauseas, all sure signs my blood sugar had gotten too low. I grabbed one of the leftover little cookies I made last night to hold me over while I showered and made lunch. Lunch tasted sooo good. Although it could be because I was ravenous – extra hunger always makes things taste better. :)

My stir fry contained a serving of tofu, a medium zucchini, half a red bell pepper, two garlic cloves, a quarter an avocado and spinach. Add a dash of Whole Foods’ Soy Ginger Sauce and ta da!

Despite this big serving I was still hungry (it was a little low in calorie count to be a meal in itself) so I added a La Tortilla Factory wrap and some unpictured watermelon.

Now that I’m properly fueled it’s time to tackle the rest of my day! Ready, set, break!

P.S. There’s still time to vote!

Wow, will you come personally strength train me, please?! I just CAN’T get motivated to do it!!! Although I know I really need to…

Watermelon?! Oh that’s right, you’re in FLORIDA, where it’s still WARM!

I love how you’re voting efforts are down to one-liners! Cracks me up! But I’m still voting!!!

haha yeah there’s no chance of me making it. And I got tired of continuing advertising support for everyone when no one else was. Stinks, because two friends that I emailed asking for help/ support then applied themselves and they’re both in the top 20, but what can you do. At least I’ll be visiting friends and fam this weekend and starting my new PT job next week so I won’t be too devastated. :) I’ll just need to find the money to go back to school somewhere else. (lol prob not at a PT job with a nonprofit? sigh)

I’m glad you said this Lindsey, because I noticed none of the other girls were doing the whole “one for all” thing on their blog like you were (except in the very beginning). That kinda sucks.

You never know, miracles could happen! Thanks for always remaining positive.
