Howdy hey! Orientation and a meeting this morning were short and sweet! I’m still orienting away. The goal: grasp everything to the point where there’s not a noticeable difference when I officially step in and the old PA officially steps out. There are a LOT of things to do and the gal I’m replacing is wonderful, so I’ve definitely got my work cut out for me!
On my drive home I was debating between chili leftovers and a mushroom and zucchini stir fry for lunch. In the end I went with the chili because I simply just wanted it more. Plus I believe grey skis (thanks Hurricane Ida) make chili taste better.
I also had toasted multigrain bread on the side.

Good news! Orientation is going so efficiently that I don’t have to go in tomorrow! Or the rest of the week, really. Thursday is the 20th Anniversary Event for the clinic, so no work, just attending a fun evening event with the hubs.
Now I have the rest of the afternoon/ night to clean, make my fun dinner I have planned and get ready for my SIL coming! I may go to the gym to use the stationary bike with flip flops, ala Megan.

Since I have custom orthotics, I almost always wear shoes so my feet/legs are aligned properly. I do like doing pilates sans shoes, though! I’m glad your work is going well, even though it’s a challenge

You can always dance around and rock out without shoes! I also remember watching an MTV cribs with Mariah Carey and she does the stairmaster in 3-inch pumps hahaha

Dancing to loud music! Yoga, Pilates, and just basic strength moves in my family room: squats, lunges, push ups, crunches, etc.
i ran a race once w/o shoes. WORST DECISION EVER. otherwise…i do strength training sans shoes, and playing out in the yard..i love the grass on my feet!
