Today was a wonderful day. Boring to most, full of miscellaneous chores and errands, but it was a beautiful day and I spent it all with my love, so that’s all that matters in my book.
As we started out on errands we grabbed a late lunch at Moe’s. I’ve had a hankering (lol who says that?!) for a Moe’s burrito all week now, so I figured I may as well enjoy. I found out that Moe’s (at least this one) no longer have their “Junior” burritos, but have a one “Big Moo” burrito. It’s basically the same thing as the Junior, but now you don’t have to specify “Joey Junior” or “Art Vandelay Junior” or whatever. So my “Big Moo” had a little rice, black beans, lettuce, pico de gallo, cilantro, black olives and guac. I love guac.
The other awesome thing about the “Big Moo” is that it comes with a smaller price tag! My burrito which ended up including the chips, a drink and a cookie was $3.99! What a great deal, even if I didn’t get the cookie (not vegan). Plus it allowed me to have some unsweetened tea instead of just water. Fun! For the two of us we had a very satisfying meal for $8.52.
After errands I hit up the gym for a quick workout:
- 30 minutes stair master, level 4, intervals
- arm curls – biceps (35 lbs, 3×10)
- shoulder press (25 lbs, 3×10)
- tricep press (60 lbs, 4×10)
- chest press (70 lbs, 3×10)
- lateral pull down (70 lbs, 2×10)
- low upright row (50 lbs, 3×10)
- decline crunches (3×25)
Nothing huge, but I sweated and worked a few muscles. Since it was getting kind of late Ross and I munched on our appetizer of Stacy’s multigrain pita chips and this new classic hummus I found at Publix – it’s really good, but really garlicky! As Kath would say – I’m still fuming!
Dinner was a super easy standby: steamed spinach with yellow rice and black beans. So easy, and pretty balanced with a starch, protein and veg!
Don’t you just love my new table runner? I actually first saw it over the summer in Sarasota, but didn’t buy it. I LOVED it and looked for it everywhere after we moved. Today I finally found it at HomeGoods on clearance! Clearance is my BFF.
But yes. I adore this table runner. The bright plum purple is one of my favorite colors currently, and I love the “3-D” fabric flowers.
It is truly the little things in life that make me happy.
Time to spend the rest of the evening with Mr. Ross. See you tomorrow!

That burrito looks great. And now I have the urge to use “hankering” in a sentence. haha! It’s such a funny word. Your table runner is definitely cute! I loooove clearance, too. When things are on clearance, it takes the guilt out of buying them
Enjoy your night!
i love the new moo too!! i <3 their guac
I’ve got to find a Moe’s, your burrito looks amazing! I get Chipotle multiple times a week with lots of guac though so I guess I am doing OK
I’ve never had Moe’s – I don’t even know if there’s one around here. I’ll have to look into it after all of your raving reviews! LOVE the 3-D fabric flowers. They’re so fun!
I just found your blog and wanted to say that I also LOVE Moe’s! I don’t know what it is about their burritos but I seriously CRAVE them!
I’m also going to have to look for the hummus at Publix too. Thanks for the recommendation!
