Ross’ Fall Soup

Hey! My Monday definitely improved since I last saw you. Work kept me busy! I came home to a wonderful pot of soup simmering away on the stove. Ross wins husband of the year! He even took pictures of different steps of his fall soup!

I don’t remember everything that was in there but here’s what I do know: cannellini beans, dumpling squash, white potato, celery, carrot, garlic, water, seasonings. I stopped at Fresh Market on my way home from work and grabbed a loaf of sourdough bread. So delicious and the perfect pairing for soup night!

I also finally dug into my pumpkin pie. Ever since that first bite earlier today I was dreaming about it all afternoon and evening. Recipe coming at you on Wednesday!!

How was your day friends? And can anyone guess my next baking adventure? I bet you can’t. ;) Here’s a hint: it involves two of my absolute favorite foods ever. Let’s see how well you know me!

What a great way to end the day, a meal cooked by your husband! Awesome!

AWww, how sweet of Ross. That is even better that your adorable hubby can cook you a delicious vegan dinner! I don’t think mine even knows what vegan means, let alone ask him to make dinner. LoL. He would probably think to order a Big Mac w/out cheese and that would be his brilliant solution. Oh, God love him! ;)

I can’t wait to see your baking creations. Because I envy them all. You are such a wonderful baker my dear. I’m so jealous.

Awesome soup! I don’t think my husband is capable of making one without meat or cheese, ha ha.

Hmm…I’m guessing you are going to bake…something with pumpkin and chocolate?

Can’t wait to see whatever it is.
