Confessions of SE 3

That was my first thought upon waking up. “Coffee.” And I don’t crave coffee. It’s a nice a couple times a week, but honestly I usually just like to drink water in the mornings. This morning was a different story though. Between Sunday’s workout, yesterday’s workout and setting up clinic yesterday (about an hour of a light workout) and being on my feet all night…phew. I had some tight muscles and definitely stumbled out of bed. I may or may not have broken out the caffeinated stuff this morning.

I also toasted a multigrain bagel from Publix and put a little Smart Balance light (a vegan margarine) on top. It looks like a lot, but it really isn’t – probably a half tablespoon between both bagels.

Now it’s time for Confessions of SE 3! I’m loving Tuesday mornings. :)

1. I frequently really miss old friends. I have lost touch with a lot of old friends and I often, and I mean OFTEN, think about them. When different life changes occur to old friends (i.e. getting a job, going back to school, buying a house, getting engaged, getting married, having a baby, etc.) I become very nostalgic. I really wish all friends could be lifelong friends!

2. That said, I am so thankful for friends that are brought back into my life! Perfect examples are Ryan, MegaNerd, and Katy. Ryan and I went to high school together and are definitely closer now than we ever were. (Can you find us in this picture from homecoming senior year?)

Megan and I were freshmen roommates, and the same thing could probably be said about us now being closer than ever! (Can you find us in this picture of us from our dorm days?)

Katy is also someone that keeps popping up in my life all the time, and I’m so thankful that we’ve been able to maintain a friendship since we first met at our college orientation, through traveling to Italy, school, weddings and beyond! :)

3. Every time I see a cute kid I really, really hope our kids will be just as cute one day (one day a long, long way off, by the way ;) ). Take this video of this little girl for example – adorable. She’s beautiful, she’s singing so that makes her ten times cuter in my book and she likes Taylor Swift. And she has a cute baby brother. It does not get any cuter! (Except for when I have kids…then it will get cuter. ;) )

I have been thinking about old friends a lot lately too. It’s hard when you lose touch. So catching up is always good.

This is adorable. I love how she just starts belting it out at the first chorus. But I think the last two seconds are my absolute favorite!

Totally agree re old friends – you’ve inspired me to call a few this week, before we fall out of touch!

I agree about the old friends wholeheartedly. It seems as I get older, more and more of my friendships dissipate and it makes me truly sad.

Your confessions are so sweet! I also have the same hope for cute children. I think that is more normal than you think. ;)

Hope you had a great day sweetheart!

Hi there, I have just now stumbled upon this site while hunting on Google as I am searching for some information on art deco engagement rings!. I think it’s a very interesting website so I’ve bookmarked you and intend to revisit you soon to give it a more detailed read when I have more time.
