His and Hers Pizzas

Hello hello! So far I’ve been getting good feedback about the health blogger’s database/ registry idea. I’m excited! I’ll be looking more into the fine details (stopping to get your input along the way!) and will hopefully have something more concrete and well-thought out next time I mention it. :)

Lunch today was delicious! I had the best sandwich ever (hummus in between rosemary bread toasted with Earth Balance):

Alongside a side salad. This salad was really easy. I picked up a salad girl’s organic salad mix that contained a package of dried berries and those little crouton things. I got it on sale too, so hooray for a sweet side salad! I topped mine with a light raspberry vinaigrette instead of the balsamic parmesan dressing that came in the kit.

Dinner was one of my all time favorites – pizza!!! The crust was Publix’s multigrain whole wheat crust. I topped it with a merlot tomato sauce, oregano, vegan cheeze, black olives, zucchini, garlic, spinach, red peppers and mushrooms. I had 3/4 of this yum:

People often ask if Ross is a vegan as well. The answer is no. While he does eat every vegan meal that I prepare, occasionally he’ll branch off and add something non-vegan to a meal (i.e. adding ham to his hummus sandwich at lunch). Pizzas, particularly personal pizzas are perfect for this, because he could add cheese and pepperoni to his pizza.

I’m off to go continue my Christmas movie marathon today. :) Have a great night and see you tomorrow!

I’ve been thinking for a while that homemade pizza would be a good option for my meat and cheese-loving husband and I. I’m going to put that on my list for next week! And a toasted hummus sandwich :)

I love doing his and hers pizzas. It’s always more fun to have the freedom to add whatever you want!

Hummus sammies are the best!! It’s like the grown up version of the classic Cheese sammie! ;)

Toly and I have his/hers style dinners too. As much as I love my man, I can’t expect him to eat the same way that I do. So I realy don’t mind preparing his plates the way that he enjoys.

Hope the Christmas movie marathon was a blast!
