Safe and sound back in Gainesville! Last night was great! Ross and I ran some errands and then stopped at Whole Foods for a hot bar stop before our double date. I had two pieces of this vegetable (cucumber and avocado) brown rice multi-grain sushi and this little box of hot bar mish mash.

Honestly, I wasn’t that impressed with that hot bar. I had some fajita seitan (which was good, and my first try of seitan! – would have been better had it actually been hot though!), a couple pieces of cilantro pesto (meh), hummus (way too much!) with cucumber slices and a tostone, which was also blah. I love Whole Foods, but their hot bar has just not been doing it for me.

Afterwards we headed to our double date – seeing Avatar in 3D with Ryan and her boyfriend Evan!  Avatar was amazing. I wish I could describe it to you, but I feel like any attempt at trying to describe the story, the movie, anything would lessen it. The movie had strong characters, amazing technology, beautiful story, the perfect blend of action, romance, sci fi, creativity, reflection on humanity and more. It was beautiful, inspiring, captivating and magical. I have never been in a movie that held me so captive for almost three hours. I wanted to go back and immediately see it over again! So yes, I strongly recommend seeing this movie!

Oh and if you’re interested? Ross’ reaction as we stepped out of the theater was, “we are DEFINITELY buying that DVD when it comes out and then we’ll go buy a huge screen tv to watch it on!” boys. ;)

Breakfast was on the road. We picked up a package of cinnamon raisin bagels (I had one, Ross has so far had THREE!) and we split a venti awake tea from the bux.

Time to finish Christmas shopping. I HAVE to get done today as the next two days are going to be crammed with work and then leaving for Sarasota!! Are you done with your shopping yet or are you a last minute shopper like I apparently am?

Hubby and I went to see Avatar in 3D yesterday as well, and I agree with you, it is an amazing movie!

I’ve pretty much finished my Christmas shopping, but still have a few odds and ends to pick up for a couple of people. I better get to it… time is running out!

And a cinnamon raisin bagel sounds so good! Yummy!

I am totally done with christmas shopping. I got lucky because earlier this year I was living in Germany for 3 months. So while traveling around Europe I did most of my Christmas shopping.

Excellent read, I just passed this onto a colleague who was doing a little research on that. And he actually bought me lunch because I found it for him smile So let me rephrase that: Thanks for lunch!
