Mondays back to work after Christmas are so much easier when your spouse (who isn’t working because he’s a teacher and still on break) stops and pays you a visit at your workplace. Not only did he visit, but he also brought me a juice for “lunch” (I was just not hungry and feeling off, but knew I needed the nutrients to get through work!).
Probably the greenest juice yet (and one of the most delicious!): half a bag of kale, half a cucumber, carrots, one apple and one tangerine.
Not only did Ross make the juice, but he also cleaned the juicer, brought it to me, helped me with another task I had going on AND helped me with all the physical labor/ set up for clinic tonight! It made work a breeze! Thanks, love! You help me feel as though I can conquer the world.
Dinner was surprisingly fairly well put together tonight, considering I haven’t gone grocery shopping in weeks (we’re heading back down to Sarasota tomorrow night or Wednesday morning). I used some tofu I brought home from Sarasota and baked it with garlic powder and BBQ sauce. I also made my standard sweet potato fries (sprayed with PAM, coated with chili powder, garlic powder, cinnamon and kosher salt) and some peas from the depths of the freezer. Not bad!
Let’s be real here though – how can any meal consisting of sweet potato fries be bad?
I wanted to draw everyone’s attention to a relatively new page that I’ve added to the blog – if you’ve been reading in Google Reader or another feed, hop on over and check out my exercise page. I am frequently asked why I like strength training, how do I not get bored, what do I do, etc., so I now have this exercise page that is an on-going compilation of exercise (specifically strength-training) inspiration sources from all over the web. Check it out, and feel free to share some of your favorite sources for exercise inspiration!
What are your go-to sources of exercise inspiration?

Aw, Ross is a sweetie!
What a sweet husband!
