Do what? Go grocery shopping on a Friday night, after a hot date at Moe’s and stop at a Joann Fabrics. 
Lunch today was leftovers – leftover “kitchen sink” soup from last night with some rosemary bread that I toasted up. Seen on my newest vegan cookbook (eat, drink and be vegan), which I can’t wind to dive into!
I think today was one of those days where the weather completely influenced my mood and energy. Not only had I woken up exhausted, but the cold, drizzly weather didn’t help matters at all! Ross came home to find me dozing on the couch – whoops! It’s been awhile since I’ve fallen asleep unintentionally in the afternoon!
We headed out for a cheap “date night” at our favorite quick and vegan-friendly place: Moe’s! For $8.52 total we got our standards. 
I got a “Big Moo” with a tiny bit of rice, black beans, lettuce, salsa, guacamole, black olives and cilantro. Eaten with tortilla chips and an un-pictured unsweetened iced tea with lemon.
We picked up a movie (Julie & Julia – I wanted to see it again, with my love of food, blogging, Amy Adams and Meryl Streep) for $1. Voila! Homebody date night for under $10. It’s how we roll.
Time to go finish some house clean up before the movie. Have a great weekend!

I love movie nights! I can’t wait to read your thoughts on Eat, Drink and Be Vegan — I wanted to buy that book this past weekend but the store was out. I heard it is a great cookbook.

Yeah….CostCo is the HIGHLIGHT of our weekends these days!!! I offer to go during the week when I’m off and get it done without the crowds but my hubs wants to go..I think he just likes the samples LOL!

I have looong weekends this semester, so I’m planning on getting in on Thursday and leaving Monday.
My hubby and I used to do that same thing every Friday night! It’s the best time to hit the grocery, so much less crowded then. But he kept buying “bad” stuff so now I go alone on Saturday mornings, ha ha. Hope you enjoyed the movie again, I need to buy it!
My husband and I watched Julie & Julia last night too – I didn’t think he would like it (if it hasn’t been nominated for “Best Picture” he’s not interested – snore) but he was totally into the Julia Childs storyline.

Gah, I miss Moe’s…all of the ones in Mississippi CLOSED! The Moo Moo was one of my faves.
And the weather has definitely been affecting my mood too lately. I need some sunshine in my life!
