Weekend Goals

Well a couple errands yesterday turned into about six hours of errands! I truthfully didn’t mind too much, because we did get some great deals on things we needed and we got to explore our new city a little more. :)

The rest of last night we had some friends over helping Ross move in the washer and dryer. By the time they were installed, Ross and I just had some leftover pizza and I crashed since my allergies-turned-head cold had wiped me out.

I still have a head cold, but in general I feel a lot better this morning than I did yesterday morning when the allergy fest was at its peak! Wahoo!

DSC_1217 Breakfast was some chocolate cold oats with banana almond soft serve. For the oats: 1/3 cup oats, 1/2 cup plain almond milk, 1/2 Tablespoon chia seeds, 1 Tablespoon chocolate brown rice protein powder. For the banana soft serve: banana, almond butter and enough almond milk to get the consistency you want. Garnish with cacao nibs for a prettier picture. ;)

Goals for the day:

  • To turn the current disaster state of our apartment (see above) into an organized home! (well, this is more like a weekend goal ;) )
  • Finish setting up the washer and dryer (Ross just did this!).
  • Whole Foods & Publix for fresh groceries
  • Clean carpets
  • Create a DIY curtain rod for our huge 154" patio doors.
