Welcome to Sound Eats and thanks for stopping by! Ultimately Sound Eats is a place where I, Lindsey, chronicle my life as I practice the art of being in tune with my health.
Health is so much more than how we exercise and what we eat. Health is part of those things, but I think being truly healthy also includes spirituality, relationships, happiness, balance and general wellness.
I’m a big believer in listening to your body. Our bodies are crazy amazing and if you let go, I believe your body will tell you what it needs, whether that be a big fresh salad or a juicy steak, or whether it be to go for a run, practice yoga or take a day off.
I also believe that we as humans all deserve respect. When it comes to healthy living, as long as people feel they are making educated healthy choices that they feel are best for them, respect that. Being vegan works best for some, being gluten-free works best for others, and eating everything in moderation works well for even more people. No matter what personal healthy choices we make, they are just that – personal choices – and we all deserve to love and respect each other despite our differences.
If this is your first time here I encourage you to look around. Read all about me below and check out some frequently asked questions on my Q&A page.
